November Book of the Month

Our featured book for November is Sweep by Louise Greig .

In Sweep Ed’s bad mood begins as something really small but before long it grows and spreads through the whole town. But how will Ed sweep his troubles away? This is an uplifting story that helps children learn to recognize and deal with big emotions.

After reading this book, write some instructions or a poem using ideas from the story on how to deal with big emotions.  Of course, as always, the Bible is the best book for advice in dealing with your emotions and anger. Why not read the following text that give us some useful ways to deal with our emotions;

Psalm 37:8

Proverbs 29:22

Ecclesiastes 7:9

Proverbs 15:1

Ephesians 4:26

Proverbs 14:17

Matthew 5:22

Ephesians 4:31

Do remember to share your instructions or poem with us by emailing it to us at
